The workers from the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory have been suffering under the Ventriglia family. The new management group under the Italian Mafias have failed miserably to enhance the scope of the concerned business and to keep their existing employees happy. Several accounts of worker mistreatment, cash loot and other corrupt activities has hit the headline ever since April 2015.
The Zambezi Portland Cement Factory was previously under the management of Finsbury Investment, where Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani has an important role to play. It was under the leadership of Dr. Mahtani that ZPC had reached new heights of success and the workers were given one of the best treatments and privileges in Africa. However, with the Ventriglias coming into the management, things have become the opposite and there is a huge sense of dissatisfaction amongst the workers.
Collins, a worker at Zambezi Portland Cement, commented, “Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani was like a brother to me. His presence made me feel that nothing is impossible in this world if we work with dedication. Often he used to motivate us with his speech and showed us the path towards a better life. Now that the Ventriglias are there, we are often mistreated and are considered as a slave.”
Similar reactions from the workers clearly reflect the level of injustice which is currently taking place at the Zambezi Portland Cement factory. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani wants to comeback and help his brothers grow, but at the moment the Ventriglias are continuously trying to keep Dr. Mahtani away from the scene by hatching conspiracy with the aid of Zambia Reports. One should not forget the fact that the lies are like a bubble. They grow quickly, but are full of air. It just takes a matter of seconds before the again disappear without leaving a trace.
