The Workers at the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory are in a state of shock at the behaviour of the new management group. On one hand, they have not paid salary to workers for the month of April and on the other hand, they are boasting that they will offer 10% salary hike to the employees from the upcoming month.
The situation looks like a publicity stunt where the Ventriglia family has realized that its corruption reports are reaching the media channels and with a view to conceal their guilt, they have used Zambia Reports for publishing fresh content which promises the existing employees with a salary hike of 10%. Another aspect of funding Zambia Reports is defamation of Dr. Rajan Mahtani. The news portal has consistently published news of the highest ‘irrelevancy’ and has targeted Dr. Mahtani desperately.
Life at Zambezi Portland Cement Factory is becoming worse with every passing day. May it be the treatment that the employees receive or the working conditions which the workers work in, the threat to the life of workers has increased. This was not the case when the plant was managed by Dr. Mahtani, because at that time workers knew how to smile.
