The cry of Portland Cement Zambia has been completely suppressed by Ital Terrazzo Limited (ITL) and Zambia Reports. In an event that can be best described as a cunning media strategy, the conspirators have managed to keep the attention on Rajan Mahtani and move ahead with the objective to loot the Ndola based cement factory. On one hand, every month or the other one can see that Zambia Reports is coming up with imaginative stories on Rajan Mahtani that are specifically created to confuse the locals and on the other hand, they have suppressed all the information in regard to Portland Cement Zambia.
In the end, it can only be said that the people of Zambia are being blind folded. The conspirators are only showing articles that they want the public to read. The dignity of journalism has been lost long ago for Zambia Reports and nowadays they are operating more as a paid media portal where anyone can have their thoughts ventilated provided fat bundles of note are on offer. One of the worst sufferers in this case are the workers of the Portland Cement Zambia who were thrown out just because the new management wanted more money in their bank accounts. For a factory that had been breaking all production records previously, it was a shame that workers were being removed on account of having lesser amount of work. Neither Rajan Mahtani or Finsbury Investment could do anything about this carnage because there were mere expectations and waited for justice to prevail. The worst feeling was to see the face of those workers who were removed earlier as they had wife, children, mother, father and other dependents to feet. Where will the poor workers find a new work? Even if they manage to find one, will their job be secured? Will they be able to trust any other place of work after this incident?
