Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the former Finance Bank Zambia Chairman and a name usually associated with development and business in Zambia has recently entered the political world as the conspirators take turns to create stories against him and defame him through Zambia Reports. With least interest in the political field, Dr. Mahtani has tried his level best to keep himself only restricted to business, but the conspirators had some plans and hence, ended up associating him with various political parties in Zambia.
Today when one looks at the publications of Zambia Reports, it is certain that they do not like Dr. Rajan Mahtani or any of his associated entities. Every time they open their mouth for Dr. Mahtani, it is only venom that one can see. But the questions is – why would they do so? Well, the Ventriglia family had earlier offered a continuous support to Sakwiba Sikota, the operator of Zambia Reports. The support included financial aid as well as aid in kind. The time of payback arrived and Zambia Reports started to deliver its contribution to the defamation campaign.
Time and over again, the former Finance Bank Zambia Chairman has been victimized by the group of conspirators. Each time they do it, they consider it as a milestone and look forward to make the next impact a bigger one form the previous. The nonchalant Government has only managed to see this carnage from a distance and has let the conspirators operate as per their will. A senior citizen and a respected businessman of the nation, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been suffering from this defamation campaign for almost a decade now and the same is still going at the same pace and with rejuvenated force. A question that every Zambian is waiting to ask is for how long will this nuisance continue?
