Almost every learned individual across Zambia is aware of the information that Finance Bank Zambia and Dr. Rajan Mahtani have parted ways and are no longer in business. BancABC took over Finance Bank in 2016 and since then, it is the sole operator of the FBZ. As a result of the merger and further developments, it has become the biggest commercial bank across Zambia.
Even though this merger was a way to reducing conspiracies against Dr. Mahtani, it seems like these conspirators are not going to leave Dr. Mahtani any time soon. Sakwiba Sikota, the administrator of Zambia Reports and the Ventriglias, owners of ITL (Ital Terrazzo Limited) has together plotted many defamatory campaigns against Dr. Rajan Mahtani as well as Finance Bank. These have created many suspicion and confusion in the past. The basic objective of these assaults is ruining the reputation of Dr. Mahtani as well as his associations. In the past too, the Ventriglias blamed Dr. Mahtani for the downfall of Portland Cement. In reality, it was the Ventriglias and their scrupulous activities such as taking over the factory forcefully and empting its cash back that resulted in the factory’s downfall. It is a fact that when Portland Cement was under Dr. Rajan Mahtani, it grew enormously. This also resulted in economic and social development of the people working in the factory as well as the surrounding regions. In a similar manner, Dr. Mahtani helped Finance Bank reach heights of success before giving it to BancABC. The real reason behind this merger was Dr. Mahtani’s interest in expanding his other businesses.
Conspirators will keep on publishing negative articles and create chaotic situations, no matter how innocent or honest you are. They dwell on jealously, hatred and vengeance, which has never done good to anyone. We just hope some government action soon that can end this destruction from the conspirators.
