In a similar manner, Forbes in Africa is known for its most popular and regarded award ceremony, the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ ceremony. The awards recognize and celebrate the leading lights, visionaries, and entrepreneurs in the field of philanthropy and leadership. The awards are known to be one of the top corporate awards across Zambia. The 2021 ‘Best of Africa’ awards were presented during the annual Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference. It is one of the top philanthropy and leadership business events in Africa. This year’s event was held virtually because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. However, the event saw participation from numerous notable individuals including members from international business communities, spiritual leaders, opinion leaders, political leaders, entrepreneurs, visionaries, businessmen, international investors as well as media partners. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was also invited to this event as an honorary speaker and spoke about the significance of leadership in healthcare. Dr. Mahtani participated in this event from his respective location just like the other participants. The roundtable conference was broadcast to the public via YouTube medium.
