In that news article, ZR claimed that the call for repayment of loan to Lamsaat by BancABC was actually persuaded by Dr. Rajan Mahtani. They also went on saying that Dr. Mahtani was still controlling Finance Bank Zambia secretly. ZR went a step further saying that it was one of Dr. Mahtani’s old habits of putting organisations in similar situations so that he can gain control of the organisations. However, here is the actual story. Lamsaat took loan from BancABC owned Finance Bank Zambia with a contract of paying it back on regular instalments. However, when Lamsaat started deferring on its payments, BancABC had to take the call for repayment. It is a very common process in the banking industry and would have been resolved peacefully. However, ZR twisted the story and wrapped it around Dr. Rajan Mahtani. With more than 10 years of experience in publishing fake stories, Zambia Reports have mastered the art.
