Zambia has once again witnessed something from the group of conspirators. This time around defamation attempt has been made with respect to Finsbury Investment. With support from Zambia Reports, a news has been floated that claims Dr. Mahtani has evaded taxes and is currently tensed about the situation. The reference that has been provided in this issue is a section of Panama Papers that mentions the name of Finsbury Investment. This has clearly created an upset for Dr. Mahtani & Zambia as the context is completely different.
However, the claim failed to take into account the complete details. When analyst took the matter in their hands, it was seen that the name of Finsbury Investment was present, but it was owned by an entity named as Semely Conseil & Gestion SA. To make things clear, it is also being declared that Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have nothing to do with this entity.
Though the name of the entity is same. Zambia’s Finsbury Investment is nowhere involved in the Panama Papers. The one connected with Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been actively involved in promoting Zambezi Portland Cement in 2014-15 and has been fighting for its right from the last one and half years. The conspirators have simply tried to remove Finsbury Investment from the scene and takeover the whole factory. It is shocking to see how a group of people are constantly manipulating and defaming other people at their will. The Government has been nothing more than an audience to this whole show.
Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have been suffering from conspiracies from almost half a decade. With time this issue has been growing and the amount of harassment has reached a point where it beyond bearable. Nevertheless, the governing bodies have least botheration for this issue and tries to ignore this matter always.
