Individuals, who are honest and truthful, never fear for their reputation. Their reputation is built by years of hard work and dedication towards welfare of the society. This reputation cannot be marred by few conspirators who dwell on hatred and jealousy. Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been doing businesses in Zambia for many decades. He has considered this nation as his motherland. At the same time, he is constantly attacked by conspirators whose only objective is to harm his reputation and businesses. We have seen many incidents in past where fake news stories or negative campaigns were launched against Dr. Mahtani and his companies. However, Dr. Mahtani never raised his voice or retaliated against these conspiracies. He is a firm believer of law and has continued to work for the common people’s welfare. Needless to say, all these conspiracies against him have also been short lived.
There are times were few conspirators take things so far that even the most silent and calm individual loses his patience. Simaata Simaata is a notorious individual and is known for his over jealous and conspirator nature. He did not take his ouster from Finance Bank well even though he was removed from the bank for engaging in unethical practices. As a result, he started spreading false rumours about the bank and Dr. Mahtani. These rumours were spread in the form of testimonials given across various occasions to various courts. He also published sensitive statements regarding the bank to local newspapers, further dampening the image if the bank and its future prospects. To save the bank and its business potential, a case was launched against Simaata at the Supreme Court.
The verdict of the court is known to all. Simaata was found guilty of the charges and will be paying fine for his activities. The bigger question to look here is will Simaata make a stop to his unethical activities with SC loss of will be continue his act after his current break?
