The dirty games against Dr. Rajan Mahtani continues to rattle the peace in Zambia as Zambia Reports have come up with another defamatory article. The latest publication from their side claims that the Executive Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies has been operating Finance Bank Zambia even after having sold the same to BancABC last year. This is yet another stupid claim from Zambia Reports which is purely based on imagination and has got no evidences.
When it comes to managing banking affairs, it is obvious that the operations are handled by the managing team. If the team feels that their forwarded loan is less likely to be repaid in the near future, then they ask for repayment at the earliest. The same case happened with BancABC. Having control over the business of FBZ, it made a call for repayment to Lamasat amounting to $ 10, 000, 000, the bank has just played its role in recovery. There is nowhere that any external party is related to it. But, Zambia Reports strongly believes that there is a big involvement of Dr. Rajan Mahtani. As per them, FBZ may have been sold to BancABC, but Dr. Mahtani is still operating the bank and making the calls.
The stupidity from Zambia Reports is very-less likely to be reduced in near future. In spite of several warnings issued earlier, they continue to operate in a similar manner and refuse to stop the defamation campaign. Their only motivation is money. No matter who you are or what you do, if you can fund Zambia Reports, you can always get a place in the news column. You are free to publish whatever you like provided you can also save them from legal consequences. However, this has resulted in a severe downfall of trust for ZR.
